Most unusual guest requests

I recently had a guest ask if we could arrange a surprise visit from a local magician for their child’s birthday. It got me thinking about the wildest requests we’ve all had to manage. What’s the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to do while at the front desk?

I once had a guest request a room full of balloons and a live parrot for a surprise proposal! It made me wonder if we should add ‘can we make this room a jungle’ to the checklist. Have you had any requests that left you thinking, ‘How do you even pull that off?’?

That’s hilarious! It sounds like you might need a circus license for some of these requests. I once had a child ask for a treasure hunt in the lobby — I wonder if they were expecting real pirates too.
