Lately I’m seeing a morning spike around 8:10 a.m. where walk-ins arrive without their sponsor present, which slows our Visitor Authorization Form 61B process and line management at Window 2. Has anyone found a clear, compliant way to pre-screen or post signage that reduces repeat issues without deviating from the “sponsor on site” requirement?
Same 8:10 a.m. surge here — . We cut repeats by putting a bold stanchion at the lobby entrance that says “Sponsor on site required for Window 2” plus a QR that opens a pre-filled SMS — “I’m here for you at the lobby, please meet me now” — and the greeter asks for the sponsor’s ext; if not present, they wait off to the side so 61B doesn’t jam the window. Piggybacking on @alyssa.k_007, we cut the 8:10 jam with a 10‑sec PA at 8:05/8:12 — ‘Window 2 requires sponsor on site’ — and a roving greeter who asks, ‘Is your sponsor with you?’ before folks hit the queue; moving the same wording to the elevator landing helped more than a lobby sign. Would a timed announcement fly in your building?
